Nearly 1,000 people have gathered at the Capitol in San Juan to protest the Puerto Rican govt. They want the Governor to resign. And they want much more. These are people who’ve had enough & wont take it any longer. ‘It’ is corruption & mismanagement.

Puerto Rico’s Governor:  “I knew about warehouses of disaster aid. She blames others for not distributing the aid.”   Why didn’t she order it done given a history of mismanagement on the island? I would ask her in person but her staff hasn’t responded to repeated interview requests

It’s time PR rid itself of its progressive socialist gov’t which keeps them in poverty, enslaved to corruption & drug crime & bankruptcy. Fortuño implemented needed budget cuts & tried to pass law denying bail to gun toting, violent drug dealers, PR booted him. Now look at PR.

Fortuño implemented cuts & the PR protested. He even took a salary cut. He was a fiscal conservative.  Acevedo-Vila was the one that made the money disappear and who was under investigation, so was Calderon. Padilla was abysmal, as was Rosello.

When people die due to a corrupt government withholding aide in a time of need for personal gain, it is time for a change. There would be no need for a new governor if they held the people’s best interests, but that isn’t the case here. Educate yourself.
